Dear psychology students and EFPSA friends,
 

Welcome to the second monthly postcard from the Presidential Team (P-Team) of EFPSA. 

There are two upcoming EFPSA events this summer. First will be the European Summer School (ESS) held in Bulgaria from the 17th to the 24th July, which is an exciting jump-start for students into the field of international research. The second event will be the Train the Trainers (TtT) summer school where participants receive a high level of training in areas such as challenging your comfort zone and knowledge of how to train others. 

There are futher opportunities to have your student work published in the Journal of European Psychology Students (JEPS) and the call for papers has just been released.

All hidden somewhere deep in the gray matter of your computer? Begin your academic career today by sharing the results of your work with the world. The Journal of European Psychology Students (JEPS) is now accepting students' research papers and literature reviews for publishing. 

Submit your manuscript before the 30th September 2010 to have it considered for the third issue of JEPS, alongside receiving international feedback for your work.

 What is the Marketing Junior Coordinator position all about?

 

The Marketing Junior Coordinator of EFPSA will be responsible for creating and organising the selling of EFPSA merchandising items. They will work within the marketing team of EFPSA and report to the Senior Marketing Officer. Essential functions of the role include organising a design for a new EFPSA t-shirt, preparing a selling strategy, coordinating the sales of items and printing all merchandising materials. 

Due to the current stressful exam period experienced by many students alongside  the the world cup (FIFA) beginning, the Train the Trainer's (TtT) team has decided to extend the final application deadline until the 18th of June (23:59 CET).

Would you like to improve your training skills and knowledge? Would you like to do so in an international learning environment? The first EFPSA Train the Trainers Summer School is going to be held in Werfenweng/Austria from the 8th - 15th of August 2010. 

What to expect from the TtT?

The TtT is an international, high level training course where participants interactively learn and explore different interrelated aspects of themselves using various learning, teaching and training theories and techniques. Moreover, this highly intensive programme equips each participant with the necessary skills required to successfully design and deliver trainings to their national psychology student associations. All participants will be supervised by professional trainers and will acquire skills, knowledge and the necessary attitude to become competent trainers of a professional standard.
