We would like to share some good news of ESS: ESS 2009 Research team "School Inequalities" led by Kai Ruggeri Based on issues encountered in their work dealing with parental attitudes toward intercultural education, three members from this research team, Kai Ruggeri, Natalia Banasik and Yeşim üzümcüoğlu published a short paper for the INEE in 2010, which is a conglomerate organisation of UNESCO, UNICEF, the World Bank, and several other multilateral bodies. ESS 2007 Research team "The Relations between values and behaviour: an international research project" led by Ella Daniel Ella has led eight Psychology students from Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Israel, Slovakia, Turkey and UK to agree on research question and a method having thorough discussions on the operationalisation of the constructs under study, and drafting the procedure during the summer school in Estonia. Timelines were set and internet chat groups were established so as to commonly discuss the tasks each members were assigned. Within a year data were collected from most of the countries that were represented in the team, then data were analysed. In July 2008 the results were presented in the IACCP Conference in Bremen. |
