Aiming to enhance psychology students’ mobility, the service aspires to provide guidelines and information to every European student who wants to study psychology in a different European country to their own, and even every student in the whole world who wants to study psychology in Europe. Study Abroad is a comprehensive directory introducing easy steps for studies abroad either for an exchange programme or for postgraduate studies as far as psychology is concerned. Navigating through the site you will be able to familiarize with application procedures, the educational systems of the different countries or learn how to get financial support for your studies. Find, also, useful links regarding Universities and national organisations dealing with psychological studies, recognition centres, responsible authorities of exchange programmes, financial aid centres, ministries of education and embassies in more than 30 European countries.

Mission Statement

The Study Abroad service aims to enhance the academic mobility of students who are interested in studying psychology throughout Europe. The role of the service is to supply psychology students with sufficient, up to date information on how to go and study in any European country, providing guidelines right from the first step of the studying abroad process.

With the Bachelor Master system it has become easier for students to study in another country, especially compared with 20 years ago. The EFPSA Study Abroad service contributes to this development by offering you an overview of European universities that offer degrees in psychology, and by providing web links to those universities.

Further, it is our mission to save you time by providing on this web site the official ratings (as recognised by governments) of as many of the universities here listed as we can get, and by showing you the experience stories of students who have already done what you are intending to do.

Our mission is also to provide possible solutions to the most common problems that we know can appear, for example: managing bureaucracy; form filling; grant applications; information about your target country; general conditions; living costs; student life and, of course, your studies.
