EFPSA Alumni Network & its benefits
As every good thing has to come to an end – it is the same with the involvement in EFPSA. This is why the EFPSA Alumni Network allows you to stay connected with all psychology students and graduates across Europe.
Having made friends for life and lived through experiences that you will never forget, by being part of the EFPSA Alumni Network you can still benefit from EFPSA and have no obligations in any way. It is very simple – you just need to register!
The EFPSA Alumni are individuals who have been involved in EFPSA as part of the EFPSA Working Community or Supporting Community. All EFPSA Alumni have related knowledge and advice, which has been collected, stored and built up over the past 30 years.
If you wish to become a member of the EFPSA Alumni Network, you will be benefiting from:
- Staying connected with professionals and students with various areas of expertise across Europe
- Joining the LinkedIn Group for EFPSA Alumni
- Staying connected and being informed about EFPSAs progress as well as opportunities EFPSA offers
- Staying updated on the activities for EFPSA Alumni
- Reminisce your time in EFPSA by receiving information from EFPSA’s history!
If you wish to actively contribute, you can do that through:
- Registering as EFPSA Alumni for the EFPSA Congress
- Sharing the word of EFPSA among your (student) network
- Supporting Organising Committees and the EFPSA Working Community with advice
- Mentoring the Working Community Teams
- Holding Masterclasses at an EFPSA Event (under development)
- Assuming positions within Task Forces
- Assuming positions where professionals are needed (e.g. EFPSA Research Programme Supervisor)
We are pleased to invite you to the official registration for Alumni Network members!
This Form will be used for Alumni to continuously register themselves (until further development on a different platform for Alumni).
According to the Alumni Charter, Alumni can apply as members of Group A or Group B.
Alumni Board
The Alumni Board represents the Alumni Network – a formal body that unites all former members of EFPSA with the aim to support EFPSA based on the experience within the network and create a networking platform among EFPSA Alumni Network members. The EFPSA Alumni Board consists of the Immediate Past President(s) and two/three EFPSA Alumni. They work towards uniting the EFPSA Alumni through various projects involving Alumni, making the Alumni Network beneficial to both EFPSA Alumni and to EFPSA! At each EFPSA Congress, the Alumni Board creates a schedule specifically for Alumni – this includes an Alumni Assembly.
Every two mandates, a new Alumni Board is chosen. All members of Alumni Group A have the right to vote for up to two candidates. The outcome of the online voting is used as an advisory vote for the Alumni Board. The candidate with the highest amount of votes will be allocated two points while the candidate with the second-highest amount of votes will be allocated one point. The members of the Alumni Board also have two votes each and each of these votes counts as one point towards the final score of the candidates.
Alumni Board 2026-2028: soon!
Membership Categories
Group A: Former EFPSA Volunteers within the Working Community
- Any individual who has held an official role within the EFPSA Working Community as a member of the Board, Executive Board and Member Representative. Only the Head and Co-Heads of Organising Committees are part of this category.
Group B: Organising Committees, Vice Member Representatives & Task Forces
- Any individual who has held a position within an Organising Committee of an EFPSA Event, was a Vice Member Representative or held a position within an EFPSA Task Force.
Further Information
In the case that an individual has held positions in both Group A and Group B across one or more mandates, then they should register under their Group A position(s).
Individuals who currently hold a role within the EFPSA Working Community cannot join the EFPSA Alumni Network, regardless of whether they are students or have graduated until they have finished their mandate.
In case a person has rightfully registered as an Alumni and afterwards takes on a new position within Group A or Group B, their membership as an Alumni will be paused until their active mandate has ended.
Please register via this Google Form under the correct membership Group. We also ask you to provide proof of having held that position (e.g. mention in Annual Reports, Proof per Position Document, Certificate of Contribution, old EFPSA emails from Coordinator or BM Responsible, mention on the EFPSA website, etc.).
If you have any questions feel free to email the Alumni Board on alumni@efpsa.org or ipp@efpsa.org
